This ginger spiced granola is super easy to make and way better than store bought.
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup pecan nuts
- 1/2 cup silvered almonds
- 1/4 cup crushed macadamia nuts
- 60 g coconut butter (or butter if you like)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoon golden syrup
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
Place oats, pecan nuts, almonds and macadamia in a large bowl. In a small saucepan over medium low heat, warm the coconut oil, maple syrup, molasses and vanilla extract. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread the granola on the baking sheet into a thin later. If you want clusters, make sure that the granola is somewhat stuck together. Bake for 25 minutes. If you want clusters, do not stir the granola.
