We are going ahead. The 2nd day of Ljubljana Fashion Week gave us a bunch of new fresh collections.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I just adored three of them again, Maja Ferme<\/strong>, PRINCIP\u00a0by Mojca Celin<\/strong> and Eric Matyash<\/strong>. So <\/span>let\u2019s<\/span> take a look at them.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MAJA FERME<\/h4>\n

The <\/span>collection\u2019s<\/span> sensual feminine school-marine look fascinated me. <\/span>It\u2019s<\/span> a collection <\/span>made<\/span> to<\/span> be<\/span> worn<\/span> the <\/span>whole<\/span> year <\/span>and not<\/span> only in the autumn <\/span>or <\/span>winter, because the pieces are really <\/span>adaptable when <\/span>speaking of seasons. I adore the <\/span>embroideries <\/span>on the \u00a0knitted sweaters in combination with a maxi skirt fluttering on the catwalk. The body-tailored dresses in bordeaux, showing just a little bit of skin and the foulards <\/span>are just breathtaking<\/span>. <\/span>The collection is <\/span>delicate, sensual and feminine, but (if I must say it twice) <\/span>totally<\/span> wearable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grey Gardens<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

” It is not a fashion style, it is my lifestyle . Grey Gardens is a breakthrough to something beautiful and valuable , what we call life. ”<\/p>\n

PRINCIP<\/h4>\n

Mojca Celin is now presenting her collections under the name of her brand, PRINCIP. The detailed <\/span>elaborated<\/span> patchwork<\/span> work<\/span> \u00a0was<\/span> a real (delight or treat) for the eyes <\/span>on almost every piece. It\u2019s really something valuable and extremely well done, a <\/span>science<\/span> of tradition, craft work. Most of all, all the pieces are truly designed for the<\/span> contemporary<\/span> woman, the one that works hard, takes care of her <\/span>relationships<\/span>, work, family, all in one. A <\/span>business- driven, family- oriented<\/span> and feminine woman, the <\/span>goddess<\/span> of modern days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eric Matyash<\/h4>\n

The two designers behind this brand are Erik Maj Poto\u010dnik and Matja\u017e Plo\u0161injak. They melted together the classic and extravagant <\/span>essence<\/span> that lies in every woman. The polite and remarkable <\/span>nice <\/span>woman wearing elegant tailored dresses with pearl-<\/span>like<\/span> embroideries<\/span> and details and the <\/span>bitchy<\/span> extravagant dominating ego in each one of us, <\/span>the one that brings<\/span> fire in<\/span> everything<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

So, <\/span>that\u2019s<\/span> just me, and the long maxi skirt in red <\/span>of course<\/span>. I <\/span>fell<\/span> in love with it!<\/span><\/p>\n

The designers about the collection:<\/p>\n

Crossroads<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201d The basic idea of this collection is a reflection on the current social conflicts , cultural differences and the refugee crisis that subtly speaks <\/span>about <\/span>integration and acceptance of diversity. <\/span>A path of crucifixion<\/span> brings us <\/span>towards<\/span> the widening of <\/span>our <\/span>horizons , networking <\/span>and<\/span> new opportunities. Color drives the image of the collection as a symbol of roads. It complements the silhouette, the feminine side with precised tailoring, combined with urban multipurpose pieces . Crossroads is not <\/span>just<\/span> focused on a <\/span>single <\/span>season <\/span>or<\/span> seasons, but <\/span>is presented as a<\/span> line of clothing for<\/span> each and every <\/span>month of the year . \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Lonely Mountain<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201d Each of us is a lonely mountain,<\/span> an<\/span> island , a<\/span> magnificent<\/span> star \/ or \/ something even more lonely in the dark. \/ \u00a0The miracle is this already, \/ that something appears \/ or someone \/ who enlightens this <\/span>darkness<\/span> . \/ And nothing more. ( Ne\u017ea Maurer ) \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Dare to Wear<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

” Urban dresses for weddings and special occasions with the seal of uniqueness and feminine forms . ”<\/p>\n

Simona Lampe<\/h4>\n

She-Warrior<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201d The collection is intended for <\/span>the<\/span> warrior in us and is<\/span> inspired by <\/span>the warriors from the <\/span>times<\/span> of the Vikings and pirates . On the runway, there were a lot of different materials, hats, layering, powerful pieces and styles. Probably the reason for this collection<\/span> is reflected in <\/span>a period of uncertainty, which is now presenting itself in the world, riots, war, fear. I want to convey the message that we should not give up \u2013 make our<\/span> the <\/span>fights , but not with weapons, with patience, love and peace. The collection remains faithful to the ecological approach, therefore, half of the collection is about recycling old<\/span> pieces<\/span> from<\/span> brands including YSL and Burberry . \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
