The opening night of MBFWLJ was a bit different than you would expect and that is what made this night unique.
There were no usual fashion shows, but the scent of fashion was in the air all around us.
The prestigious Mercedes-Benz Fashion Award 2016 was given to a young designer Kaja Julija Hrovat and the visitors could admire an exhibition named Fashion photography through generations, where three great names of photography and three different views were presented. Fulvio Grisoni, Saša Hess in Peter Giodani put on display selected photographs from their amazing portfolios and were already presented on festivals and fashion shows around the world.
The highlight of the evening was Gattinoni’s fashion performance that left a lasting impression on the visitors. The prestigious Italian brand Gattinoni became part of Italy’s cultural heritage in 2009 and has dressed the biggest icons of film, theatre, music and art in its 70 year history.
