Discovering beauties of Slovenia

This year I decided for more active vacation instead of the usual relaxation by the sea.

My trip started with the visit of natural reserve Zelenci, the beautiful turquoise water and mist above it.

Next stop, Jasna lake, was nearby. A beautiful place for a walk, admiring nature and taking photos with mountain tops in the background. The morning and the water were too cold for me to dip my feet in the lake, maybe next time.

The road took me to Vršič pass, the highest mountain pass in Slovenia and also a great starting point for a hike.

The next stop was Bovec, where I stayed for two days, visited nearby waterfalls and swim in river Soča. What I loved the most about this place was pure nature, clear turquoise water and so many great things to discover.

I will definitely have to go back soon – zipline is the first thing on the list.
