December is the month for taking time for your friends and family, baking
and cooking good food, spending cold evenings wrapped in a warm blanket. And
of course, a person who needs some attention from you is also – you!
We are often too busy to even eat a proper breakfast, which gives us energy to do
the things we want through the day. Maybe this December we should also find
time to slowly wake up in the morning, sit by the table, enjoying a cup of
coffee and a healthy meal. We recommend this delicious granola recipe, mixed
with yoghurt or fresh fruits . or both!
Ingredients:
Dry ingredients:
1/2 cup of oat flakes
1/2 cup of soy flakes
1/2 cup of rye flakes
1 cup of oat bran
2/3 cup of rice flakes
3 tbsp of hemp protein
3 tbsp of cocoa
2 tbsp of chia seeds
2 tsp of maca
Wet ingredients:
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of melted coconut butter
1/2 cup of agave syrup
1 bag of vanilla sugar
Extras:
2/3 cup of coconut chips
1/3 cup of chopped chocolate
Procedure:
First, stir the dry and wet ingredients separately. Mix them together and
add coconut chips and chopped chocolate. Bake at 150 °C for 40 minutes on
one side, then turn the granola around and bake for another 40 minutes.
Reduce the temperature to 120°C and bake for another 20 minutes on each
side.
Preparation time:
You’ll need 15 minutes to mix everything together and approximately 2 hours
for the baking.
