The Christmas fairytale in London city

Christmas is a family holiday, but however it was never in ours, because we celebrate  New Year’s Eve. So I decided that this one will be special and I would see something new and spend it with good friends. And London was my choice!

After almost four years I returned to this amazing city. It was all lightened up and I was thrilled, not just beacause of all the lights and all the beautiful buildings and landscapes, but because it was the best decision ever, to spent Christmas time in London.

As soon as I got there my friends took me to Jamie’s Italian restaurant where I had the most amazing aubergine ever. It was delicious!

Then we crossed the beautiful Olympic City and afterwards we had the evening run around the city centre, looking for all the morst beautiful lights. We went from London Bridge, to the London Eye and then to Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus and Oxford Street and at the end of the day I was exshausted.

So Christmas eve was a delicious dinner at my friends home and the day after was all about chilling and havig great time and of course lots of delicious food 😛

The day after our run trough London continued on Greenwich where we first went to see the beautuful ship Cutty Shark, went to the 0 grade point at Greenwich and then to the heart warming Greenwich Christmas Market where I meet a fabulous girl with super Cute handcrafted accessories, but for now I wont tell more 😉

We ate a lot and very good and headed to the part of the city called The Bank, where the famous Gherkin building, in the shape of an egg, is situated. This is a business part of the city and is really amazing to see all the old buildings embracing the new ones.

Then was time for the Buckingham Palace, trough the green park and to the spectacular gates and the fountain infront of it.

The evening was about party and going out to Soho, where we spent the night dancing and having fun with lots of new people. In London is so easy to meet people and have great time and this was also a good point of spending the holidays out of our dear Slovenia.
