Quinoa with cinnamon and plum

A healthy snack inbetween meals that will pump up your energy.

You will need:

  • 1 and 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup quinoasalt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • chopped almonds and plum (or other season fruit)

Wash the quioa. Bring quinoa, milk and slat to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until all liquid has been absorbed. Allow to cool slightly. Garnish with cinnamon, honey, almonds and plums.

Kvinoja s cimetom in slivami

Zdrav prigrizek, ki bo dodal energije vašemu telesu med obroki.

Za pripravo potrebujete:

  • 250 ml mleka
  • 100 g kvinoje
  • ščepec soli
  • 1/4 čajne žlice cimeta
  • 2 jedilna žlica medu
  • narezani mandlji in slive (ali drugo sezonsko sadje)

Kvinojo operemo. Mleko segrejemo v loncu ter dodamo kvinojo in sol. Ob mešanju kuhamo, dokler mešanica ne zavre. Temperaturo zmanjšamo in kuhamo dokler se kvinoja ne dobro prepoji. Ko iz mešanice nastane kaša odstranimo s štedilnika. Pustimo, da se malo ohladi. Kašo damo v posodo, posipamo s cimetom, pokapamo z medom in dodamo mandlje in slive.
