3rd and last day of Fashion Forward Dubai, but for sure not least!

The last day is always as sweet as the first one. I always wait for the grand finale, as in fashion is always like this, first best but last the best.

And this one was closing day of the spring/summer shows with my favourite brands again. I can expose two of them that I adore most and this is House of Nomad that is absolutely delicious this time with the spring/summer like pastel sweets. And the other pastel dream is Amato by Furne One, which did again a fairytale closure. In the lines below I Will write about few more collections created by very talented designers that I can hardly wait to see again at the end of this month for the new season catwalks.

SAID MAHROUF

The collection Conferences of the Birds lightly glaced around the elegant models bodies and shined its colors trough the different kinds of rich silks.

Said Mahrouf collaborated with the Paris based painter Yassine Mekhnache on 10 special pieces for the spring/summer 2016 collection. These pieces have been hand embroidered. These 10 looks are a mini Haute Couture collection, within the full 25 pieces collection, that trademarks Said Mahrouf’s love for draping.

MADIYAH AL SHARQUI

The Spring Summer 2016 of Madiyah Al Sharqui is embodied with lace, crepes, chiffons, beaded and rope embroidery.

Harking back to the mood of the 1970’s, the collection sees Al Sharqi’s trademark look reinterpreted to channel some of the most iconic silhouettes of the era. Using beaded and rope-embroidered fabrics, Al Sharqi brings to life her reinterpretation of the 1970’s look with fresh appeal and a clean, linear and luxurious finish.

HOUSE OF NOMAD

The two designers of the brand, Ahmed El Sayed and Saleh Al Banna this time presented the collection named Earth and Sky.

And it was like the sky falled on earth and all the pastel clouds lightly walked trough the catwalk.

With linen and neoprene materials they presented the dreamy spring and summer, for her and also for him, in a modern romantic way.

House of Nomad shows the evolution of their vision this season. The collection, divided into two parts, conjures inspiration from “Earth” crafted with linen in utilitarian silhouettes and clean lines, while “Sky” is made from neoprene; its soft texture sculpted into pieces with light, rounded forms.

AMATO

The amazing designer Furne One did again an absolute piece of art.

The Amato Prêt-à-Porter collection is a lace fairy in the butterfly world created with a mix of classic and modern fabrics.

“This season I wanted to look to the east – I was inspired by the thought of
spring in the orient. Elements such as :  ancient paintings of flowers and
birds, traditional embroidered costumes and beautiful zen gardens – to
name a few, come together for Amato Pret-A-Porter’s Spring/Summer
debut collection.” – Furne One
